FWLS 2022 has two winners!
FWLS 2022 finale ended with an exciting result, as the Jury decided to select two winners!
Monika Janíková (Comenius University Bratislava) and Bo Peng (University of Cambridge) persuaded the Jury with their breakthrough ideas. In their research, Bo Peng tries to break the wall of quantum computation by exploring the potential use of atomic vibrations (phonons), while Monika Janíková attempts to break the wall of using erythrocytes in fighting infection.
The second place went to Martin Muzelák (Technical University of Košice) whose project explored applications of MIDI technology beyond music and offered a universal digital tool for students, engineers, and scientists.
The third place went to Eva Rutšeková (Comenius University Bratislava), whose project addressed the importance of integrating logic and historical knowledge in education. This year’s FWLS was held in a hybrid format and hosted, besides the young Slovak innovators, an international group of finalists whose countries did not organise their national Labs. That’s also why two tickets to Berlin were awarded. We wish our winners all the best in the international Emerging Talents (FWLS) finale!
