Falling Walls Lab Slovakia 2017 knows its winner!

The first Slovak edition of Falling Walls Lab took place on September 29, 2017 in the Moyzes Hall in Bratislava. More than 100 guests attended the event and enjoyed 18 inspiring presentations by young innovators and researchers.
The jury of distinguished scientists and representatives of the business sector had the difficult task of selecting a single winner to represent Slovakia at the international finale in Berlin.

The first place and the “ticket to Berlin” was awarded to Stanislav Hrivňak (Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice) for Breaking the Wall of Small Animal Imaging.
The second place went to Štefan Tkáč (Technical University of Košice) for Breaking the Wall of Hydro Turbine Rotor Stabilization,
and the third place to Matej Mikulszky (Technical University of Košice) for Breaking the Wall of Application Design.
