FWLS 2018 winners announced!
After the presentations of 16 finalists on May 31, 2018, the jury selected three winners!
The first place and the ticket to the Falling Walls Lab finale and conference in Berlin was awarded to Lucia Lauková (Comenius University Bratislava) for Breaking the Wall of Sepsis.
The second place and the option to attend the Berlin finale as an observer went to Marek Schnitzer (Technical University of Košice) for Breaking the Wall of 3D Printing in Medicine,
and the third place to Katarína Janšáková (Comenius University Bratislava) for Breaking the Wall of Diagnostics Using Saliva.
The event was organized under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Ing. Peter Pellegrini, who attended the presentations as well as the award ceremony.
